Markus — The Ermine

Cohérence Agency needed a distinctive mascot character that embodied its creative and tech-forward identity: Markus, an ermine character designed from initial wireframes, developed through multiple concept iterations, and brought to life through AI-generated video campaigns using advanced prompt engineering and generative video models.
The Challenge
Creating a memorable mascot required more than just character design — it demanded a full AI video production workflow. Without an established pipeline for transforming 2D character concepts into dynamic video content, and lacking experience in prompt engineering for consistent character animation across multiple AI video platforms, the studio needed to develop an entirely new creative process.
The Solution
A comprehensive character development pipeline was established: starting with four wireframe concept variations, refining the final Markus design, then building a detailed AI video workflow using storyboard on Adobe Firefly Board-driven prompt engineering. Multiple AI video models (Veo, Kling AI) were tested and optimized to generate consistent character animations, environmental scenes, and brand storytelling sequences — creating a repeatable process for AI-powered mascot content.
